About Buccal Therapy
Buccal Therapy
Buccal therapy is an intra-oral facial massage. Wearing gloves, your therapist works on the muscles of the cheek and jaw from inside the mouth as well as externally across the face and neck. It is one of the few treatments on our menu that uses no machine at all, and it is often chosen by clients who hold tension through the jaw.
Because the work is manual, the pressure and the areas covered are adjusted to you as the session goes on; you are asked throughout, and anything uncomfortable is changed. At Skinholic Aesthetics & Laser in Surrey, buccal therapy is delivered by certified professionals and can be booked on its own or discussed alongside a facial at your consultation.

What to Expect During Your Session
- 01Consultation
We talk through what you are noticing (tension, tightness, how your jaw feels) and check there is nothing that would make the treatment unsuitable.
- 02Preparation
Your skin is cleansed and you are settled comfortably before any work begins.
- 03External massage
The session opens with work across the face, jawline and neck to warm the tissue.
- 04Intra-oral work
With fresh gloves, your therapist works the cheek and jaw muscles from inside the mouth, checking pressure with you as they go.
- 05Finish
Skin is cleansed and soothed, and you are given aftercare before you leave.
