Venus Viva™ MD uses NanoFractional RadioFrequency to send heat energy through the skin’s surface via tiny pins. This creates microscopic treatment zones, leaving the surrounding tissue intact. This process accelerates natural healing, boosting collagen production to repair and smooth the skin’s texture.
Initial improvements in skin brightness and smoothness can often be seen within a week as the surface heals. However, deeper structural improvements, such as the reduction of acne scars and wrinkles, will continue to develop over the following two to three months as new collagen forms.
It depends on what we are treating. Some people see a clear difference after one session; three to four spaced four to six weeks apart is more typical, and acne scarring almost always needs the full course.
During a Venus Viva™ MD treatment, you will feel a warm, prickling sensation as the energy enters the skin. To ensure your comfort, a topical numbing cream is applied to the treatment area beforehand, making the procedure highly tolerable for most clients.
There is a mild healing phase. You will experience redness and a warm sensation similar to a sunburn for the first 24 to 48 hours. Light, microscopic crusting will form on the skin over the next few days, which naturally flakes away. Most clients return to regular activities within a couple of days.
